In Australia, Coles is selling “pokemon builders”, these thick cardboard cutouts that you collect and assemble. More info here: Access denied | Coles
They are kinda fun actually. Putting it together gives you a sense of ownership (the IKEA effect) and with only 35 to collect it’s a neat little promo product. Also, they are leaning heavily on the fan favourites.
The sealed packs are selling for $1-2 on eBay and there’s a rare Mew/Mewtwo builder which is selling for around $100!
This makes me wonder what kind of local pokemon related merchandise is selling in shops close to you?
