Mostly Japanese with a bit of English, but I’ve been debating recently starting to collect French since most of my Japanese goals are coming to an end.
I mainly collect Japanese and english cards, but I also collect Chinese base set as well. I just like the literal translations for some of the names. Like Venusaur’s literal translation is Wonderful Flower Frog.

For my bulbasaur collection, any language I can get my hands on!
I grew up with German cards and when I came back into the hobby I bought mostly German cards but had always a tendency to Japanese cards, especially the promos and Japan exclusive cards grew on me. I also have a good bunch of English cards, mainly from the WOTC era and then Base Set UK-print run.
Then there are a lot of English promos that never made their way to Germany (or even some sets like Legendary Treasures or the two Gym sets).
I’m at a point where I mix my old (read: WOTC) cards rather randomly between German, Japanese and English cards. I’m on a good way to complete the Japanese Base set before the German XD
I have also some random European languages presented in the Base Set, mainly for comparison with the same card in another language and nothing really serious - just for fun (that’s why I got yesterday my first Chinese Base Set Rattata besides a Spanish Pidgey).
All in all I choose cards because of their artwork and less because of their language.

Japanese is my main thing but I also like Korean and of course English
