Also very curious about the number of Carddass Bandai boxes still out there for the various sets. I know Gary had a huge lot, but those dont pop up that often either.

Did Carddass have booster boxes? I thought those cards were released in vending machines.

Yup. To my knowledge they were originally sent in boxes to vendors who stocked the vending machines. There are still people selling boxes out of japan but they are harder to find. Here is a Carddass Bandai Anime Gold and Silver Part 1 box from my collection. I also have the holo Display that goes with this box but i cant seem to find my pictures and don’t have it on hand currently.
