What does "Customized Item" mean on eBay's Authenticity Guarantee?

I recently bought a raw signed card that was sent to CGC for eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee. Their update says “Customized Item” rather than “Authenticated.” Is this because the card was signed or is CGC suggesting that the seller further customized the card/package?

I haven’t seen this before, but I would assume that this is how they “authenticate” signed cards at CGC’s hub. Can anyone confirm?

Sounds like it means “the card is real but it has been altered” i.e. by a signature

Just an update. Yes, it was referring to the auto. The eBay Authenticity Guarantee void sticker read: “VOID IF DAMAGED: After-market signatures and embedded relics are not authenticated.”
