I understand that objectively is a problematic term when discussing this, but, let´s try. What do you think is the best artwork ever created?
For me it’s the Neo Rev Houndoom. Always was a big fan of the Houndoom cards in late WotC, but this one is the best. I actually like both forms.
The stance with the purple background gives it an almost otherworldly atmosphere.

Are your slabs ok, my guy? It seems like there is some brown…stuff on them

Haha, sharp. The slabs are okay, but the photo was taken with my phone from the screen. It´s evening here, and this photo was taken earlier. The thingy is/was either on the screen or my phone.

Ok, that’s good. Neo Rev Houndoom is one of the two best arts of that Pokémon (tied with Aquapolis holo) so that would be a real shame.

No worries, I treat my slabs with a lot more care than my phone or my laptop ; ) Also, agreed. The Aquapolis card is very good too.
I love Fossil Kabutops. Something about the art is just very clean.

For modern I’d say this. It’s perfect in every way. There’s just something about it that I can’t explain. Love this card.

‘this for vintage, I remember the attendant handing me one at the movies and actually gasping.
For modern I really like the Shinji Kanda Magikarp.

This was awesome indeed. Little did we know what the future for these cards would be.

The full artwork without the holo is even more beautiful

My choice would be one of these two. Umbreon perfectly captures what I like in Pokemon, while Feraligatr is an incredible skill showcase. I personally feel vintage peaked here, around the e-series era.
Modern has so many great artworks too, but I think full arts are in a league of their own.

I think my answer is very obvious …
