When Abyss Eye cards got revealed I thought we would get a Rampardos SAR given it’s not an unpopular fossil mon. I also felt disapointed that Ho Oh V did not get its chase card back in Sword and Shield.
What are cards you wish had secret versions you could chase ?
I feel the loss of Rampardos SIR so hard! I would have loved that. Some I can think of are Flygon got robbed from a alt art in Brilliant Stars, Suicune never got a Full Art in BW. A Mega Skarmory SIR in Perfect Order, Venusaur never having a gold secret rare in BW, No Mega Charizard X full art in XY, NEVER A MEGA PINSIR CARD etc etc

Ho-oh definitely got done dirty in Silver Tempest although the set name implies that it is a Lugia set, not a general Gold/Silver set that would focus on both Gen 2 legendaries. But still…
As I said in another topic, no Suicune full art in Dark Explorers to match Entei/Raikou, and no Moltres full art in Generations to match Zapdos/Articuno. Both of those make zero sense to me.
Technically speaking, 1/2 the set’s ex RR cards (4/8) don’t get SARs and for Mega sets, it has been 3/4 of the Pokemon SARs are going to be Mega, so it was a low chance - especially considering all the choices so far have been repeats (Raikou, Cinccino, Morpeko, Meowth, Rotom, Oricorio).
Those repeats don’t seem that strong to sell a set outside the Megas, but it seems like TPC’s crappy middle ground. If you’re a completionist then knowing Megas are temporary, it’s quite egregious that they are skipping so many from getting SARs since it could be a really long time to get them again - and we still don’t even have Mega Pinsir, Medicham and Banette.

I’m still surprised how this card hasn’t received a SIR considering that this character has become extremely popular due to the most recent Legends game.
Personally, I think it’ll be a similar case as Iris’s Fighting Spirit. First appeared in West as part of Journey Together. Then, she got reprinted as a SIR in Ascended Heroes. Maybe there’ll be another expansion similar to Ascended Heroes in the future where Emma will be reprinted as a SIR.
This is the Latin American Spanish version of her card in Chaos Rising. Her name is Matière.
At least she was included in a set unlike Lida lol

Yea Golem definetly has some very good SIR potential, hope it gets one some day !
