Sometimes PSA scans can be a bit misleading too. The lighting often hides edgewear on the left & right sides of the card. I personally have had a bad experience where I did not ask for any other photos and ended up recieving a 10-cert PSA 9 that would be more appropriately slabbed with a 7 label. The left edge had whitening throughout. That’s also why im glad z&g uses their own scans for their listings!

I know these are frustrating and awful, but by now Im picturing you just get a bucket of popcorn these days. Alot of the posts have alot of jealous vibes imo otherwise why even waste the time making a post at all. Sucks

You seem like you’d take good pictures and create detailed descriptions for your products. Are you a quality seller whose reputation and reviews precede them?

Even I wouldn’t feel the need to ask you questions often. Unfortunately, you aren’t the only type of seller out there.
We all have our version of moronic messages in the business world. Mine probably aren’t as frequent and definitely aren’t as aggressive as some of those you posted (good lord!) since we’d be in person, as Drew mentioned. You do just have to get out the popcorn and laugh… maybe report a few of those too haha. It’s terrible, but we plan for it like theft and lost mail.
But messages like the ones you posted aren’t what I’m referring to. It’s the genuine questions from interested buyers. It has been enlightening for me to read the opposite perspective on this forum where some sellers’ comments can be interpreted as if they want absolutely no questions, and I’ve taken that information and made my messages to sellers at least more concise and upfront.
There is always context, nuance, and circumstances to dictate what’s best for each of us, so I’m not saying what anyone should or shouldn’t do. At the same time, there are probably some people like me who read the “no questions” perspective on this forum and are pretty surprised haha

The skill - attention to detail and perception - is something that many may never have. Of course, experience in previous grades and knowledge of params is something else too.
I’m usually pretty accurate, but when I go into older bundles pre-sorted for later submission, I’ve certainly gotten better over time, even when I thought I was good before…
These are just gold. Obviously THIS sort of messaging can go and do one. This is just causing BS and hating for no reason other than to be a douche.
Totally. I’ve bought some lower end slabbed holos before that looked perfect in the photos so I assumed the lower grade must be down to something minor. Turned out the foil was scratched to hell.
On the flipside, when I sold these on, I did everything possible to actually show the scratching and also explicitly state it in the description.
The mistake was mine for making assumptions on whya a PSA7 or 8 got that grade. I should have asked a question (if that was permissable lol)

The card sleeves with the little silver circles on the FRONT of the sleeve are ugly. Also, sleeves with any color are ugly.
