They just started to pop up all over Yahoo Japan, they have QR codes on them which makes me think they might be for the games but I have no idea.
I believe they are used for a Pokemon arcade game called Ga-Ole? Ga-Ore? Gaore? Something like that. I think you insert them into the arcade machine and then you can use that Pokemon in the game.
I actually just messaged my brother who is on a 1 month trip to Japan atm and he said an arcade game got released there on the 7th and he has seen loads of people inserting them into it.
I wonder how you obtain them.
think you could get these on Amiami
@kkthxbai mate, can you assist here?
I have seen something similar on AmiAmi, but not with pictures.
Yeah it’s a new game just released. I watched a few people playing it, you basically catch Pokemon in the game, and anything you catch is dispensed in the form of one of those cards. I’m assuming you can then use them in the game later on.
Why don’t you guys get milhouse a few of these for his collection?
I think I know these arcade machines. I go alot to the arcades, but never played the pokemon one as…
- There is always a line of little kids…
- I feel retarded being 27 and lining up with a bunch of 9 year olds, and mums.
Above is the dbz machine I played once, and this will dispense a random card everytime you play the game.
I have a feeling the pokemon one is the same. I’ve seen it in action.
Next time I go, I will take photos.
Is your brother in Tokyo yet? I just got back a couple days ago.
I wouldn’t worry - it’s generally 50+ year old ojiisans playing to be honest lol.
Lol ojisan play the gambling games like horse racing or retro usually haha. I think it’s pretty cool when I see like 60 year old guys in there playing with arcade sticks.
Literally everyone in Nakano arcades are 50+. All the kids staring waiting to play, but never get the chance haha.
