I love a good holo or ex, but what are some commons that have always stuck with you? Be it for the art, the story of how you got it, or anything that drew you to it. I’d love to hear from people! Here are some of mine:

Not a common, but probably my favourite WoTC non-rare/holo card.

Always loved Omanyte from Fossil

and imo almost every common/uncommon from the gym sets have great artwork.

Also this Wailmer card because of that artstyle and the rainbow (?) behind it.

This card goes unnoticed, if you look closely, there’s actually a Larvitar standing on a piece of land in front of his reflection in a body of water.

It’s virtually impossible for me to select my favorites.
I’ll just go ahead and say all Himeno arts from Jungle and Fossil and all Komiya and Kusube arts in general.
And even then, this leaves out hundreds of great cards (early Sugimori, Kimura, Arita etc.).

This card is literally my identity

But I also love many other common cards as well like the Psyduck Joakim posted, it’s one of those cards that always puts me in a good mood.
