Welcome @BMOE3366911 ! Interesting user name. Does it have a story. The e reader cards have grown on me over the years. When they first came out I didn’t care much for them. Now I really appreciate them and they have some great art. I must be more mature now. Ha ha!

B is for Brody, Moe is a nickname some people gave me → BMOE
The numbers are more a nod to the nature of reality haha, Nikola Tesla 3,6,9 type thing.

I agree about the E-series, when they came out my parents bought me some packs and 9 year old me went, ā€œwhat is this???ā€ Now that I’m older, flipping though a binder set of them makes me feel like I’m getting a rare privilege.
Some of the cards feel like they could be stored with gold in a safe and classified as treasure.

My names Matt
Located in San Diego
Recently got back into the hobby and trying to capture the nostalgia I had when I was a kid. I have a few of my favorite cards already from my childhood. Vintage has a super special place in my heart and immediately takes me back. I LOVE Japanese cards as well, I remember always having a few when I was younger or a friend could always show you some cool ones that they had. Modern sets are so beautiful as well so I’ve started collecting some as well whether they be Japanese or English.

I can’t believe I just learned about this forum. Crazy. I mostly collect for our crew of 5 kids. They all play, which is how we got into PokĆ©mon (they do local events once a month or so and did SD regionals and will do Fresno as well). We mostly buy and trade to build decks, and they all have their own collections as well. Outside of building decks, I love to find rare and interesting toys and accessories + packs and graded cards from Japan, in particular.

Hey, everyone!

I am an Eevee collector from Philly who has loved Pokemon ever since a childhood friend convinced me to get Diamond on my DS. Couldn’t really afford cards (with the exception of the occasional tin/preconstructed deck for Christmas), until I graduated college and got an adult job back in 2021. Since then, I’ve been building out my collection, which I am very excited to share with you all!

Beyond collecting, I also make art (both traditional and Pokemon-related stuff), love hockey, and play fighting and FPS games. Looking forward to chatting with fellow Eevee collectors, as well as others on E4!

Welcome @JitsGrom ! That’s really cool to play and collect with your kids. Our family did that and we are still collecting and play(at least each other) 29 years later! Looking forward to hearing more from your crew.

I had an Account here since 2019 but hardly ever used it until this year and I haven’t properly introduced myself.

I’m Hernan, most people in other social medias like instagram know me as my username Nanp90 which is just short for Hernan-Pokemon-1990. Came back to collecting in 2017 during a time where my home Puerto Rico was dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and I was without power for 4 months and no running water for 2, it was a hard Period but while going shopping for gifts for my girlfriend’s nephew I saw some of the one pack Blisters and I was surprise that the cards where still a thing so I bought a couple and now here I am.

I consider myself a low budget collector that is really into the arts/the illustrators. On my Instagram I basically focus on posting cards from my collection with the theme of having the background cards be by the same illustrator and I also do spotlight post about them. I collect basically PokƩmon I like and I do Binder pages of those PokƩmon and also I collect a lot of illustrators.

When it comes to my goals like I already said I’m a low budget collector so my goals never were that high compare to others. To put into perspective I have spent over 30 dollars on one single card only like 6 times in 6 years(only time I spent 100+ on one card was for my Shining Raichu) but my goals of having 4 full binder pages of each Raichu, Zard and Venusaur I was able to complete last year. Now I’m just Adding Binder pages and Arts that I love. So my goals are basically to keep collecting what I love while learning and sharing as much card art facts as possible with people in the hobby, hopefully helping other collectors to love the cards they have even more, no matter the rarity or value.

Glad to see you log back in, @nanp90! I absolutely loved your Instagram posts highlighting the illustrators back when I was on Instagram often. Your page was such an inspiration to me. Looking forward to seeing more from you here!
