It’s a “good report card gift” but his son has to pay for it himself?
Im surprised so many of you engage with weird messages and buyers. I get an offensive lowball or weird message or someone telling me how to sell my item, I hit block and move on.
They also could be wearing you down.
I assume it’s to show they’re firm on their offer, I do the same to indicate I 100% won’t go higher, if the seller isn’t interested after that point just decline because I’m doing the same with another counter.
Love when strangers think I give two shits about their kid. Also “it’s a gift” yet she’s making HIM pay for it??
His story needs some work
“Pack Fresh” “I have others looking into this, I would suggest buying it now before it’s gone”
I like to catch people off guard by counter-offering below the presented offer. Nothing crazy, like 2 bucks here or 5 bucks there.
I would love a follow up survey after the story doesn’t work.
“Would you give some feedback on my sob story? Would you change the part about my kid, the kid needing a gift, or the kid paying for it? Or would you scrap all of it and just go with “I’m in the hospital.”?”
Fear of describing an item in detail… They don’t want to make a claim as to the quality, but neglect to describe the item sufficiently instead.
With that math it’s no wonder he didn’t get A*s
Another thing that really gets me is when customers think you will give them a better deal because “the card is going to a good home.”
First of all, I don’t know who the heck you are and never will know you, so how am I supposed to know if you’re not actually a complete schmuck? I’m supposed to just take your word for it?
Second, it’s an inanimate object; not a puppy. Like, what’s the next step? Meet you in person, place the card in the middle of the room and see if it goes to you?
I always keep a bit of bacon in my pocket when meeting up for a card buy, just to tip the scales in my favor.
My biggest gripe with eBay is offers not honoring the “must make payment immediately” on your listings so buyers just accept offers and I have to wait days before I can mark it as payment not received and relist.
I should add a note to all my offers on ebay from now on: “going to a smoke free home ”
PSA ready
literally every card is “_ ready” bro. even the already graded ones lol
I literally lol’d. Nice work.
