Weird 'bubbles‘ in PSA Slab

Hello everybody!

I am new to collecting slabs and wanted to ask what these ‘bubbles’ are? Are they something I need to worry about?

Wipe the case down with some PlastX and a microfiber cloth and those and the vertical scratches will go away.

Those are scratches from tight fit sleeves. You can remove them with plastic polish. Look for headlight-polish at your local hardware store if you don’t have PlastX where you live.

I am not talking about the scratches, i am talking about those bubbles, here another picture:

They are INSIDE the slab, not outside, wiping them away didn‘t work

They are outside and aren’t actual bubbles but rather round patterns within the scratches. Afaik this pattern comes from rubbing plastic on plastic.

Just get the plastic polish like we said. Here are before and after pictures of my cards:

Those are on the outside. PlastX will take care of it :slight_smile:

Also, just in case you haven’t heard, don’t hold the front and back of the case when you slide the sleeve on and off. That’s what makes those scratches. Hold the side of the slab as you put the sleeve on and off and you won’t end up with those.

Thank you so much! I hope I can get them off with PlastX, it was stressing me out there might be some damage/issue with my slabs…

Oh I didn‘t know that, thank you! I wanted to store my more valuable slabs in slab cases and everything else in slab sleeves, they are not harmful in any way right?

PlastX will take those right off, no worries at all! I get tons of graded cards that have those and a quick wipe down always takes care of it.

Update:

I got PlastX and tried it, I was super very nervous upon trying but I gave all my slabs a nice wipe, and those weird bubble things are gone! Thank you so much!

I wish I could add pictures but its very hard to get it on my phone, but I promise everythings clean now!

So everyone reading this and having the same issue, try PlastX… its gonna work :wink:
