I recently bought a Plasma storm pack to keep for a couple of years, which is a modern B&W era
Before I bought it, I asked the buyer whether is unweighted? He replied, you cannot weigh modern packs due to codes in it
Anyhow I bought it, yet I keep looking at it and asking myself, are they reliable, these code cards?

New cards with code cards are not weighable - he is correct.
I believe Plasma Storm is weighable. I think starting at XY breakpoint or breakthrough is where you cannot weigh packs as that is when both green and white code cards (different weights) were added.
The seller is correct about “modern” sets not being weighable, but the change was implemented in Breakpoint. Plasma Storm released prior to Breakpoint and is therefore weighable.

Yeah… Very unfortunately they didn’t implement something sooner.
