VIDEO: Opening a "shadowless" pack

I decided to open one of the packs from the long-forgotten “shadowless” Base box I recently found in my storeroom.

@kkthxbai was on hand to shoot the video and offer independent verification. (Thanks, Andrew!)

Please note that this is raw video. No edits. No transitions. No intro, outro or BG music. I might do that later, but I wanted to give our members a chance to see it now.

Are you looking to get rid of the box? :open_mouth:

Dw, the back had corner freying from production and was off centre at the back from what I saw. So would be borderline 9/10

Thats sad ༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ

On first examination, it looked to me like the Venusaur’s border was top-heavy on the front, and off left-to-right on the back.

Gotta love those WOTC production standards

‘Hi this is Andrew…KK Thanks bye’

Awesome video…and Glenn…your voice is very soothing.

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic, as Andrew is @kkthxbai on here?!?

Yeah I found it funny the way he phrased it that’s all - sounded like he was introducing himself then literally finished with saying OK thanks bye - made me chuckle :stuck_out_tongue:

Never heard my voice described as “soothing.”

“Grating,” sure. But never “soothing.”

I thought it was a voice disguiser :stuck_out_tongue:

I only use the voice disguiser when I call your house in the middle of the night, @garyis2000

Awesome video thanks for sharing  I wasn’t aware of what the differences were on the back of the packs only on the front so I learned something too

Cool video!

Was wondering one thing though: Is it normal that the card is not 100% flat? It’s like it is a little bit curved when it’s on the table, would that affect mint-ness, likewise for grading with PSA?
