Vaporeon staff regional price check / selling advice

Hi, I recently got this one back from PSA and I was wondering what a realistic value would be. There doesn’t seem to be any sales these last few months and there is only one psa 9 listed on ebay for 75k. (except one raw copy sold for 475 eur, but it seems like a lucky buy now?)

Easiest for me would be to sell this through consignment on ebay, but I’m worried that an auction isn’t ideal for such a rare/niche card. (I’m thinking about slap auction on ebay as I’m from EU)

What are your guys thoughts?

Enough people know how stupid rare it is, so auction through a big consigner will yield what you want

The card doesn’t sell very often and it is very niche. The PSA 9 listed is a show-off price. Nobody is going to pay near that.

I would expect somewhere between $500-$1,500. Before the boom, lower grades under PSA 8 and ungraded copies in Europe would regularly sell for a few hundred dollars/euros.

I’ve waited for a PSA 9 to replace my current copy for a long while, and I suspect that I’ll continue to wait for some time.
