If he leaves a negative feedback you can try to get ebay to remove it and this should be easy as you’ve done everything possible to cater to him and accept a return. He also used abusive language and that’s not tolerated on eBay. It’s also easy to have ebay look at those messages if he does leave a bad feedback and seeing what he said they should easily flag his account and take off your feedback
Wow I have no idea how he can call you rude, your first response to him was very friendly imo… He’s definitely looking for some trouble
I’ll update as this saga unfolds. For now I’m still waiting for him to request a return. This guy is out of his damn mind.
This worries me - a big red flag. To me it seems like he is almost threatening you with damaging the PSA case if he returns it. Along with the rest of the message it seems like he was almost trying to trick/force you into letting him keeping it and refunding it.
Whats his feedback left for others like? Does it look like he has a pattern of trying to scam others - since it seems like thats what he might be trying to do with you

He has scammer written all over. Wants a refund and to keep the item…
Asking them to return the item gets rid of 95% of scammers. If they dont return it eBay won’t make you do anything.

Now he wants to do a return and buy a replacement PSA 7 gyarados in place of it. I told him to do the return first and then we’ll see. I’m very skeptical at this point. Trying to hang onto that 100% feedback, but I’m close to saying screw it because 1/372 is nothing after 6 years of selling.
Don’t worry about negative feedback. All you have to do it call eBay and they will remove it instantly.
Well it does look like it’s slightly bent from the photos but who knows if thats from the actual case you sent him. Personally if I bought a case that was slightly bend I wouldn’t be freaking out but I wouldn’t be super happy either. But if you want to maintain your 100% feedback I wouldn’t stress and just offer a refund and apologize as you’ve never seen this happen before. Good communication is key. Also you’re a physics teacher!? College physics 1 was fun. Then physics 2 rolled around and I felt clueless even after getting an A. lol

Physics 2 is definitely a bit more abstract, but it’s still fun. This fall I get to teach forensics also.
UPDATE: I got the case back and it does have a slight warp that is noticeable if you are picky. The case stacks poorly now as a result, but card is fine ad unless you stack the cases it shouldn’t be a big deal. The buyer made it sound like the case was in horrible condition, but it is really very hard to tell. I can upload photos, but the first ones I posted are probably just as good because it’s not very noticeable (Case and point I didn’t notice, unless it happened in shipping).
Regardless the language used was not acceptable buy the buyer and I feel a decent person would request a partial refund over sending it back. It cost me 20 bucks for him to send the stupid thing back basically.
I’ll probably add it to a shadowless lot and make a note of the case being slightly warped in the description. Thanks for the opinions folks!
