Greetings fellow Pokemon collectors. I came across this forum while trying to research a card from my collection. I have a Team Rocket unlimited Dark Slowbro 12/82 that has the holo covering the entire front of the card. This may have been a fairly common error from the set, but I cannot find any information online. Any information that can be provided regarding this type of error/misprint would be greatly appreciated.
A picture always helps.
This happened with numerous cards and shouldn’t hurt the value if it’s mint.
Thanks. That’s what I expected, but hadn’t seen others. I appreciate your reply.
There are a couple guys here on e4 who collect oddities. They pay premiums for such things so if you sell, be sure to check around and don’t take the first offer;)
Thanks for the advice. Any idea what the multiplier of value is on the card? I understand it depends on the quality, but in general are they 2 times value, etc?
Hopefully one of the misprint collectors here can help you.

Yes. Like I said in my first post, a picture would help.
@scottowens Upload a photo(s) to imgur and drop the link here! We can take a look and better help you from there!
Here it is. Not the best picture, but I tried to take it at an angle where you could see the holo.
Holo Bleed card
As mentioned by @geg89, it’s indeed Holo Bleed. Holo Bleed is when the holofoil is at parts where it’s not supposed to be, like the description/attacks in most cases, or at its name. This usually happens because the ink that was used on top of the holofoil layer is too thin, causing the holofoil layer to shine through / emerge from within.
It’s a pretty common occurrence in the Sun & Moon era (I have a harder time finding certain cards without holo bleed than with…), but it’s more uncommon with older cards. Still not extremely rare or uncommon, but your Slowbro has quite a lot based on that picture, which makes it pretty cool. I’ve seen only a couple Holo Bleed Team Rocket cards before, but not that often. (Then again, I never search for Team Rocket cards, so there might be more out there than I’m aware of.)
All and all Holo Bleeds can occur on any holo cards and in any era/set. Mostly happens with Holofoils, but I’ve also seen Reverse Holos with Holo Bleed covering the artwork (I’ve got a XY Generations Pikachu like that in my collection).
Greetz,
