From a collection standpoint, I’m also glad that the English set dropped 1st edition stuff. Unless there is a substantial difference between 1st edition and non (like, say, a book that’s first editions are hard back vs unlimited paperback) then frankly I see little point in them.
tbh the only reason I collect Mew 1st Edition cards is because I feel obligated to get all the differences in prints, otherwise I wouldn’t bother.
