Unlimited E1 (expedition) pokemon cards

Someone has asked me about the cards that came with Card e-Reader :jp: in the past.
The cards that came as inserts with the Card e-Reader :jp: are all 1st Edition and are exactly the same as the ones that came in Base Expansion Pack expansion.

  • Koffing 001/128 :jp:
  • Hoppip 002/128 :jp:
  • Pikachu 016/128 :jp:
  • Gastly 019/128 :jp:
  • Machop 021/128 :jp:
  • Machoke 042/128 :jp:
  • Chansey 047/128 :jp:
  • Rapidash 073/128 :jp:
  • Pichu 082/128 :jp:
  • Machamp 089/128 :jp:

As far my knowledge arrives, no … (or at least I haven’t seen one)

True. These are the variants & reprints of Hoppip for example (I have to add the release day of each)

Kirby-e (E3 2002) is the reason why the E3 2002 boosters are extremely expensive. It has an interesting story:

There’re 3 variants: Loser, 2nd Place and Winner. (Loser is the most common variant; Winner variant has a POP less than 10) … People were given a booster in E3 2002 that contains this Kirby e-Card. They could scan it and if they win, it’s said that they win a Special GBA. Urban legend says that all Winner units were destroyed after the event, but it’s known that at least 1 survived and was sold in 2021 for $10.6K USD. There’s also a way to know the variant without scanning (it was revealed in a magazine) … Kirby-e is an interesting part of e-Reader lore … I should write about that

Would you say the zard comes from a similar pack or was this the only one released?

Just a heads up: If you don’t want your cert number to be known, you have to cover the barcode too as it contains that exact same number.

Yeah thats my bad i was rushing. Appreciated bro :+1:

What do people on here think a reasonable asking price would be?

A PSA 9 sold on Mercari for 3000 USD somewhat recently. So that could be a good starting point.

And there is a PSA 9 available now for 5000 USD

Appreciate that mate thankyou :+1: any idea how recent?

Mercari says the post was last updated 1 month ago

Ahh ok so yes quite recent. Definitely helpful just wish someone would pop up and give us the info we want on this zard haha. Maybe ine day :folded_hands:

Hey, just curious—whether it sold 6 months ago or last week, does it really make much of a difference? For something this niche, past sales don’t always give a clear picture anyway.

If you’re thinking about selling, the best way to find its true value is to throw it up at auction and let the market decide. Prices on these kinds of cards tend to move around a lot, so at the end of the day, it’ll sell for whatever someone’s willing to pay in the moment.

You’ve been posting a lot recently about this Charizard, so I kind of figured you weren’t planning on keeping it. Please can you just drop the charade of why you’re here and list it on eBay already.

100%!

A PSA 9 may have sold for $3,000 a month ago, but three months ago, a PSA 10 sold for $4,000. Obviously, this card is hard to price and it will sit for quite some time.

Agreed. @anon53664876 There are also rules here about surreptitiously advertising cards. We get that you’re looking to sell it. There is no need to be coy or walk around the subject to bring attention to your card.

2.2.

Those members whose main existence on this forum is to advertise or sell will be warned and removed if necessary.

No advertising or selling?? I havent done that at all. I asked an opinion. Is that against the rules? I can remove my posts if im able to as to not offend anyone. Apologies.

People tend to get suspicious of others who only talk about their expensive, new, niche card.

In the future you can use 130point to check out sold prices.
