For me, it’s kinda cool to think of this artwork as Forretress using Rapid Spin to clear the battlefield of Stealth Rock. However, Stealth Rock as an attack from the video game wasn’t introduced until Diamond & Pearl - about a year later after the release of EX Unseen Forces. Makes you wonder…did Kusube know about Stealth Rock before all of us?
…or this could just be Forretress spinning thru other rock or metal it doesn’t need to be deep lol

Seriously, though – Forretress is a super cool, actually underrated Pokemon. I actually prefer the Skyridge holo art to the EX Dragon art, though.

It’s fair to say all the Eeveeloutions don’t get enough love and credit due.
I literally can’t think of a single eeveelution card off of the top of my head…
missed opportunity on Pokemon’s part…

Fun fact: they’ve introduced 43 unique Eevee artworks to the TCG since the end of 2018. That’s 19 more than Charizard.

After playing the video games, I always have aa sense of disappointment with Absol. It was a glass cannon, and then the mega was a little ridiculous. BUT it’s still a cool mon, and there are some great cards too.
I’ve always felt that Porygon doesn’t get as much attention as it should. He was THE prize pokemon after Dratini in the OG games, but he never had a decent move set, or a decent card except for that one that combo’d with drawdaunt in late XY era… Still not a great combo, but it could win. What’s not to like?
Heck! Porygon was so cool, he has a card named Cool porygon,
AND he caused fits in children back in Japan… ohhh.

Lets be real those Charizards are just bonus thoughtful appreciations before Arita’s base comes back again into print so I can see why Eeveeloution cards have had the jump, yet again it is easy to forget they’re still being printed.
Porygon2 and Z are absolute beasts in competitive (certain metas, at least). I’ve always like the porygon line because of that.
