Ultra prism gold solgaleo and lunala

I sold Solgaleo GX for the same price as well. It will be interesting to see how future sales compare.

I just seen that a lunala psa 10 sold for 900$ on ebay… What is going on here lol

It doesn’t look like it has, there’s a big line going through that sold price.

People who submitted them a while ago would most likely only have received them back from PSA recently knowing what we know about the delays. That seller is first to market and just sold 2 out of the 3 which have been returned through submissions.

Now that people will see this huge price tag the floodgates will open. Everyone is going to start grading them who can get their hands on them… which they probably would have anyway. Ultra Prism was a popular set so there’s probably hundreds of them out there.

At the end of the day… if you’re looking to invest in the majority of SM era set cards like these or even Hyper Rare Charizard for that matter the pop and print run on them is just astronomically high and the print quality is just too good to the point where these cards have higher 10 pops than 9s.

The price changes for SM era stuff is going to be mainly stabilise in the prices of the raw cards and if anything goes up at all, don’t expect constant growth. Prices plateau, glass ceilings are hit.

We were speaking about it in the discord recently how insane it is that Hyper Rare Zard is practically the same price as Dark or Blaine’s considering they both have lower 10 pops and they’re 18 years old.

I don’t see that sale. When did it occur? I’ve sold two now, I accepted $400 for the second one.

Also, I originally listed the second one at $950 or best offer.

There was once a time when the secret rare Flashfire Charizard was almost equal in price to a Shadowless Charizard in PSA 10. In the long run Dark and Blaine’s will grow as the Hyper Rare gradually decreases and we all know it. It’s not happening now but it will eventually.

Here’s a quick analysis of Solgaleo’s price growth. Prices rounded up, best offers not counted.

Awesome chart. I saw one recently end at $127.

Good thing we can still pick them up for $40 elsewhere, right guys?

okay, but that’s not the point. You can think something is overpriced based on subjectivity, but that doesn’t mean numerous sold listings and deals don’t prove otherwise. It’s a very hard card to pull, bad innate condition, and is somewhat meta relevant. Just because you can find something for cheap, doesn’t mean it’s standard, in comparison to average sales. But hey, to each their own.
