How rare are these gold cards. Will the prices jump drasticly. From what I have seen the pull rates are 1 in 500-1000 packs. What are your thoughts and opinions?

They’re selling for $30, so not rare at all. It’s because theres so many people opening product and the demand is not that high. They’re barely playable in the current meta so players aren’t dying to own them and S&M kids aren’t old enough to make them a hot collector’s item.
The only ones worth investing in are thr PSA 10 versions, 3 people have pulled them at my local league and the condition was horrible. Even then a Hyper Zard is probably always gonna command more in terms of value.
if we’re talking about the English version, Solgaleo is definitely selling for more than $30 lol. And considering the odds of pulling a specific ultra rare are very low, especially if you assume the gold cards have lower pull rates than the HRs, than his estimation of the pull rates isn’t too far off, either. I don’t see these commanding too much of a premium in the future, unless were talking about 10s like you said, but there’s definitely something to them.
I believe that they will hold value in the future. Collectors enjoy these gold/silver cards that only seem to be included once in a while. Gold Reshiram and Zekrom along with the silver Dialga from Phantom Forces come to mind.

This is true. I will add that although being beautiful, Gold/Silver UR’s have remained the same price since their release. With that being said, I don’t see the value of these new Hyper/Gold rares going up or down in price drastically; or at all.
These cards are definitely 1:750-1000 packs or at a minimum 1:1.5 cases from all the 1000s of packs I’ve seen opened.

Because this kind of kills it. The reason hyper rare Zard is so expensive isn’t just because of the hyper rare pull rate, it’s because of there’s 20 secrets in Burning Shadows.
well, if the gold cards are a separate slot, then that means the pull rates are above HRs, which gives them a uniqueness, and if you are looking for one specifically, like Solgaleo because of its higher value, that’s still 1:2 on top of the innate pull rate. Certainly doesn’t kill it imo. Plus, there’s only 13 HRs in BS, so there’s not 20 slots. This is all assuming gold cards have a separate slot.
I think secrets and hypers take up the same slot per box. Not 100% sure though.

Two, if those are auctions that are ongoing, that’s not a reference until after it’s completed. Not only that, for all we know, prices can go up if UP doesn’t continue it’s printing soon. The solgaleo is sold out on T&T at $75. The only ones listed on tcgplayer are $130-$143. The cheapest BIN on ebay are 1 at $80 and everything else at $130+. This card is skyrocketing… The lunala looks like its being bought out as well. Last one just sold for $80, when last time I looked it was sitting sub $40.
