Just purchased this, trying to authenticate… with no comps I’m having difficulty finding anything to compare. Any Thoughts?

I don’t see any reason for it being not authentic, is there some issue that you are worried about? I have a spectra sheet similar with charizard in middle. Sparkle sheets are extremely rare so congrats on a very nice find!
@joponnes i just don’t have anything to compare it to. Have talked to a few people who have said something similar but never seen another sparkle sheet to know for sure. Does yours have the same glossy finish on both sides? Thanks again!

Yeah mine are also glossy on both sides. I find it really difficult to see anyone faking these since they are extremely niche after all, it also feels like close to impossible to do with all the different layers the holo surface requires

I agree with @joponnes, that this is extremely niche and therefore unlikely to be reproduced with any real accuracy.
I’m sure that you could send this to CGC to get it authenticated. Not put in a slab, but perhaps just for your peace of mind.

It’s authentic, but most likely cut from a retail display. Which came in larger sheets. Those displays only came in sparkle and Topps only distributed regular chrome as the promotion. That’s why see so many exclusive previews in chrome and none in any other variation. Even though on the back it says they come in four versions.
Anyways if you ever consider selling,I would love to add this sparkle variation to my collection
Not sure if i understood correctly but these sheets definitely exist in spectra foil and regular chrome variants too, but unlike the back says tekno sheet apparently was never a thing so three different sheet variants
I’ve looked everywhere and haven’t found a Tekno (not even a photo of one). So you may be right. I know they exist in regular chrome. Maybe have over looked any spectra variants as well.
I own a spectra sheet so they definitely do exist, i have talked with some collectors that got info from shop owners that they never got tekno sheets so might have to dig if i still can find those chat logs. That doesn’t ofc mean that the tekno sheets can’t pop up like for example the ready for battle 00 promo did but so far no evidence of the existence of them

There have been some potential fake ones listed and sold recently by another problematic seller that has defended selling fake tcg disco holos. They list a uncut sheet of 4 9 card sheets and immediately took it down and listed 3 9 card sheets. The pokemon pattern doesnt match the full sheets and the seller weirdly purchased a real one and resold it. Potentially to copy the back. they also have weird single cards that have the promo back. All seems suspicious.
Ive confirmed 6 of the base, 4 of the spectra and 4 ofnthe sparkle from the above map but who knows what real anymore

First off how am I a problematic seller? 100% feedback on all my accounts absolutely no issues with any of my buyers. Secondary to this what makes them fake.

Fake discos? You do know currently there are multiple grading companies who’ve taken them in for analysis. All they’ve all came back and confirmed they were printed within the era that would make them potential verified test prints.
Also the one I purchased is sun faded on the face of it . How would I copy it? I work construction and don’t own a 500k printer lol I can never jump on a thread without dealing with some sour puss , ridiculous. Lol
I’m not sure you’re able to read very well or make use of common sense and most likely just want to argue with people and bring toxic behavior to the hobby which is why I didn’t tag you and have no interest in communicating with you further

You also said I tried justifying selling “fake discos” when I did not and only made a thread to potentially find leads on a lot of items I own that are pretty much exact the same besides a slight difference in the foils dot size (given that this is a forum filled with experienced collectors)

And lastly calling someone a sour puss isn’t exactly toxic behaviour. If it hurt you I feel sorry for your state of being.
I’d say slandering someone’s integrity without a just cause is bringing toxic behaviour to the hobby.
Find a buyer who has dealt with me and has had a bad experience and I’d stay silent. Until then 
I’ve never communicated with you on a thread ever in the first place. So like wise.
I’m also sure that your the same person who contacted me on eBay presenting the same argument. And when I asked for evidence to back up your claims you went silent.(genuinely would like to know)
Besides the fact the I got these from a distributor who was an authorized topps dealer to retail stores in the Toronto area.

Thompsybb, There were some supposedly fake sparkle charizard promo sheets being sold on mercari awhile back as well. Im trying to find the conversation to determine what the issue was but I can’t find it at the moment. There is definitely some potential that yours is not authentic but I hope not! The zard sparkle is probably the one of the coolest promos out there. Ill ask a couple of other collectors and see what they say.

Thompsybb One indicator that ive learned is that the fakes do not have the debossing/embossing like the chrome cards do. Does your sheet have this?
Because the “fakes” you speak of were likely cut out of retailer display sheets And are real. Hence the no embossing/deembossing.
