Will do. Was kind of hoping someone else would relabel it just to see what it looks like with the card. But the two of the people I know with a pristine said they want to keep the blue label.
Which I get because it matches the card perfectly. I just hate it.

May I ask if you would be open to keeping the blue label and just asking them to recase? I’m sure you can ask for that.
I actually don’t know that you can do that. Since relabeling isn’t it’s own category on their submission form. It’s just technically a reholder. So that’s a good question.
But I hate the blue label with a passion. If they hadn’t changed the labels I would have been completely out on CGC lol.

Cards previously graded by CGC Trading Cards and CSG cannot be reholdered with CGC Trading Cards or CSG labels. They must be reholdered with the CGC Cards label.

Poll actually ended closer than I would have thought.
I guess it’s to be expected with how much u certainty there is with CGC right now. I suppose as long as PSA doesn’t all of a sudden decide to switch to AI grading making it impossible to ever get another 10 there is no need to try and cross it now. And I guess BGS might eventually stop being dumb with their max restriction.

That’s going to happen regardless. The reason why it even became a question was because I was going after a PSA for the last few months because I had never owned a CGC card and knew almost nothing about them. I started bidding on the card in early June prior to the CGC changes and had originally intended to try and cross it to begin with because I knew the card’s origins and that it was just pulled in May in that whatnot break Gary was at. So I knew it had a decent shot to cross.
Like I mentioned originally, I was mostly trying to see if anyone thought I was a lunatic for even entertaining the idea of crossing a pristine low pop card. My social media feeds are filled with old heads who are super biased against CGC for obvious personal collection reasons so i don’t really trust them to give an unbiased opinion.
The pratte shoutout was a joke and I was really just asking to have the post closed because I closed the poll lol

Flying out tomorrow AM to drop stuff off and go around a bit and then flying back. Because some stuff is end of show and I need to get it in ASAP. And the flight is going to cost me like $3 with my capital one rewards. Then I’m driving out for the weekend with the wife and kid.
I’m actually going with a CGC relabel form, a PSA Crossover submission form, a BGS submission form (in case I get wild and/or decide I hate myself). Plan is to just relabel at the moment.

I wrote “10 please :(” on the minimum grade section of the form. I might just to submit it for the hell of it until they tell me I can’t do it then Ill drop it off at CGC lol

So I actually have this card off with CGC right getting reholdered again because I didn’t want the ugly perforated label they used at the national.
But I think now that PSA is in the 8x certs I am going to try and cross it. The odds are pretty terrible of it working as is so I’m going to have to try all of the old tricks. Submitting at a lower tier and sending some other slabs as distraction filler.
I think I’m actually going to send it with a couple of CGC Gem 10s (that obviously won’t cross) as well.

You’re going to put a minimum grade right? I hope they give it to you but will be suspenseful until you find out

Just FYI - dropped off a bunch of relabeled Pristine 10s at the National (Jungle through Destiny) to try to crossover in slab and PSA rejected every single one of them.
Most had the 9.5 on surface. Just fair warning. Some absurdly beautiful cards, definitely learned my lesson.
