Thoughts on Not Factory Cut (NFC) Cards?

Yeah, it’s NFC. It’s likely you got it from the same eBay seller I bought this one from:

The seller did mention NFC in the auction title for my purchase, though. :person_shrugging:

Still, for just 90 bucks I don’t mind buying a NFC like this personally.

There’s a lot of modern sheets leaking out.

Basically, the easiest way to identify if it’s an NFC is if it’s got extreme off-centering both horizontally and vertically, which is something that doesn’t really happen organically (exception would be an upsidedown back)

sorry to revive an old thread, but searched this topic to see if somebody has already asked it before I made a thread to. the more I’ve learned about Pokémon cards, the more perplexed I am by NFCs. an uncut sheet would surely sell for more, right? I don’t really understand the appeal of NFCs when an uncut sheet would be much cooler imho

Pokémon sheets were 10x11. Suppose you sold every NFC card at $150 (some sold for much more) - that would result in $16,500. They sell for a fraction of that in tact.

Yes, especially NFC holos and when the seller doesn’t mention that they’re NFC. Many buyers pick them up thinking that they are factory miscuts.
