Supposed to be through August. You can always ask PWCC chat
The FREEVAULT promo will be going on from now until September if you’re looking for free submissions. As someone posted earlier, it’s free over $250 appraisal, and only like $3 for anything under. That said if anyone is ever looking for a free vault submission for anything expensive, or looking for insured shipping labels to send stuff there just reach out to me and I’ll be happy to help out.
Is this free forever? as In send before 30th September and not pay a penny on the stored card over $250?
Cheers

It’s a shame because buying from PWCC used to be such a viable option to get cards we don’t get the opportunity to purchase too often over here and now you just get absolutely slapped with extra costs. PWCC auctions for me are now just a watching exercise to keep track of prices unfortunately.

We do get shafted with a 28% collectibles tax if we ever sell though: “If collectibles are sold at a gain, you will be subject to a long-term capital gains tax rate of 28%, if disposed of after more than one year of ownership.”

Another reason to run your collecting through an LLC, so when you sell you are subjected to regular income rates and not the 28% long-term capital gains rate.

PSA doesn’t take off for silvering as much as you might think, same goes for the fossil set holos.
No whitening on the card or holo scratches, well centered too. If you’re expecting to buy PSA 10 jungle and fossil cards without any silvering, you’d better have some black label money available.

If they look that bad then they shouldn’t be 10s. Docking print defects but not docking major silvering seems contradictory to the whole grading philosophy.
*“Often times, these little pests may be the only flaw keeping your prized rookie card from that elite status of PSA 10.”*I would rather have a print line than a card with leprosy.

looks like someone sandpapered the edges, its clearly visible without zooming in at all
And this one goes beyond some silvering, my local card shop should grade all their raws if this is a 10
There were 3 AWFUL BGS 8.5 1st edition zards last night that went for just around the same price as a PSA 8.
BGS 9 and below just feels so … all over the place to me

Black Label = God tier
Gold label 10 = PSA 10ish price
Gold label 9.5 = PSA 9 pricing
Any lower is going to underperform a full grade versus PSA counterpart.

Shafted??
Serious you have steal paying only 28%.
If I buy something €1000 in the USA and ship it to my country in Europe, I have to pay 21%VAT (taxes) and around 4% import tax.
When I sell that item I have to pay another 37,1% income tax and if I my income including everything I earned in a year goes above 68k I have to pay 49,5% tax of each Euro I earn.
Do the math and find out taxes/fees in the USA are peanuts compared to some European taxes.

I’d do the math but I couldn’t afford higher education and I’m feeling too sick from my lack of universal healthcare

I would say these apply to a vast majority of the countries, Latin American, Asian, etc. The rest of the world gets hefty taxes when importing stuff, declaring values or managing customs. As someone that is not from USA, it baffles me how some people complain about taxes in the USA haha when they are barely something.
