I bought a web series psa 10 gengar holo for $125 and a 1st ed web series psa 10 gengar holo for $150 in 2019. Sold both for $500 together, will be posting more stupid sales later, got to cry in the meantime…

Its not really a loss if youve realized gains. Yea you could of made more, but id hardly call it a “loss.”

To me its a loss. I havent bought anything thats gone down lol

I havent bought anything for more than the value is today i should say.
I buy a box for 100, value goes to 300, then goes down to 200, sure price went down, but my price is still good. I have had items go down, but nothing below my price. I also dont collect wotc lol so that saves me from a lot of BS

Poncho Pikachus will haunt me forever. I bought a full set (and multiples of some) back when they were sub-$80 for a PSA 10. I wasn’t really collecting much at the time, I just really like those cards (and they’re still my favorites).

I’m not really one to over extend just for cards but shortly thereafter I had an issue with a boss not paying me on time for weeks and months on end, something I couldn’t really have seen coming, and my graded cards were the first thing to go to put food on the table.

Nearly brings me to tears when I see what those cards are going for now, lol.
