So if I’m hearing this right anyone who buys the card that is not the submitter can file for a grade guarantee? I guess because the submitter would maybe file like a damage review?
Hello. New here. Doing Express for 2 1st edition Lugia Neo cards that are in extremely good shape. I never knew about this here but I did post on reddit way back and some people said 8-9.
My cards were delivered 4 days ago and PSA says arrived. Any idea when it moves to the next step which is order prep? My other question is if they determine these are worth more, they just charge my CC before shipping?
I thought it was odd the form did not ask for the CVV of the CC when putting in payment info. If anything happens with card info, do they call you?
There support is pretty bad and the calls hit maximum volume like 5 mins after opening lol. Thank you all
It depends on the service level. If you used Express, it’ll take a week or two for the order to be entered into their system and officially part of the queue.
If they decide to upcharge you, you’ll be contacted by email to discuss and approve the upcharges. If there’s an issue with your credit card, either phone or email.
They and all the other grading companies are absolutely slammed.
Is there most likely going to be a price hike for PSA grading via Ludkins? I saw a few pages back about Graded Gem shutting down for a bit? Do you think I should be sending in my cards to get graded asap? I have like 50+ cards in this upcoming batch but I was going to wait until I opened all my shining fates.
In addition to raising their fees (which I’m sure most people already know about), one thing that I find interesting is that CGC’s estimated turnaround times have also decreased. They were at 30 days estimated turnaround for standard submission level a week or so ago, and now they are at 25 days. I have to imagine that the turnaround times will only get better and better now due to the gigantic price increase.
@hypernova, not sure I get that meme lol. But hey, the longer PSA and BGS remain incompetent, the easier it will be for CGC to establish a foothold. Hell, I just recently started cross-collecting some CGC 9.5s because I can actually submit cards and get them back within the same century! If PSA’s turnaround times were reasonable, I wouldn’t have bothered.
Weird; was only paying attention to Standard since that’s what I was submitting with. I think subgrades added extra time before, too, though? Because it took longer for my cards with subgrades to return and they were submitted at the same time and on the same service level as other cards without subgrades.
I think all 3 grading companies just updated prices and times for the worse, I got a few subs in right before the change but I don’t think Ill sub any more for at least a year till stuff changes
Im like 99% sure the thousands of genesis cyndaquils clogging up the companies will have thinned out by next year. Dont quote me though lol cant predict these people
Unfortunately no company will ever truly get their act together from what we’ve seen. Honestly might as well send now as it’s probably just gonna get worse from here
I still got like 30 more eseries holos to buy first. When I have them all Ill probably send in regardless of what the situation is. If its subs for my collection I dont mind the waits as much. Thankfully a friend let me know they were gonna up the prices and I was able to get a lot in just 2 days before they more than doubled bgs prices
According to the comments on Nat Turners post…PSA is getting huge price increase on March 1st. I’m sure other people here have insider info on that but I’m interested to see what happens
