PSA 9 you’ll likely get upcharged to the $30 tier, PSA 8 you’ll be good
might as well give it a shot I guess. It does not get much cheaper than 15$
and if I have to get 8s I dont want it to be anything over 15$ tier since 8s are dumpster fire these days

My grades were released last night and it shipped out today. They provided me a tracking number as well.
@wisewailmer i had several cards in my $18 july special completely eclipse the value limit (not on purpose lol) and didnt receive any upcharges. 1st edition base starters are like some of the most well known cards tho so idk if youd get outta that one lol

I have not gotten any upcharges on 97 cards, most weren’t near the rate, a handful at “PSA Value - $250” but a Shadowless Red Cheeks Pikachu 10 got through. APR value is ~$500 on the PSA Inventory tracker but the PSA value is $150, think they just have some old numbers and don’t care unless it’s something obviously valuable, Gold Stars, Shinings, etc.
That said, 1st Ed Base Starters are probably in that small category of things that would pique their interest. Seems like they’re being sort of lenient so my guess is they won’t upcharge on anything under like $400.

$15 special hit grading yesterday. Frankly I was expecting (/budgeting for) it to take longer 
. I did another $15 sub but will probably hold off on any more. I think historically submissions have slowed down in the new year (???), so I don’t feel any great pressure to get them in.

Definitely not. Once they open it up to sports cards at $15 they’ll build themselves a nice little backlog to work off of.

Yeah i did some thinking and im gonna send in a good chunk of my 1st ed base non holos before its over. I had originally just sent ex era reverses but non holos seem to be good as well

PSA lost my package, or they say Fedex did. Paid me insurance, and deleted the sert numbers.
Now 5 months later the package is found in Atlanta and is being shipped to me.
Will PSA update the sert when i contact them and tell them that the package has arrived?

Good question; I’d assume so. But if I were them i’d want my insurance back

I asume so, was wondering if they will fix the registre with the cards, or will they have the cards return, as in regards to local law (in Norway), the cards are now the the insurance-companys ownership.
If insurance is paid, the company now own the cards.
Anyone been in this dilemma? I would like to Pay the insurance, and keep the cards, as they are worth more then i recived
My express order has been graded on sunday( yeah i was surprised), assembled on monday and since tuesday has been on QA2. Today, still on QA2, does not show anymore the “review order”
Can I assume is it about to be shipped and I can see the grades? Please tell me so

I had 2 orders shipped this week. 1 went into QA2 on 10/13, shipping on 10/26 and shipped 10/26, the other went into QA2 on 10/17, shipping on 10/19 and shipped on 10/24.
Very random amounts of time on each step but safe to expect cards in 1-2 weeks. Also you can see grades on “shipping” step, watch for the email to come in at like 3 AM EST.

Seems to be a little bottleneck in qa2 lately. Has been taking about 2 weeks for me. Maybe due to upcharge research

If you didn’t get an email then that usually means it didn’t actually ship yet. It will sit in the “shipping” stage, but that just means that your grades are ready and it’s ready to be shipped. Once it actually ships is when you’ll get an email saying they actually shipped it and that should have the tracking number in it. I have never heard of someone not having the tracking number available once it actually ships from them.

Simply mail them with the story and ask if they will add the cert numbers back to the register.
And offer to have them take the insurance money back from you creditcard. (but I would first ask if they are willing to put the cert numbers back)
Fair = fair if they want the insurance money back.
I have 3 orders that i’m waiting for, so they have put the insurance-money on these orders.
Have sent an email to PSA and asked if thay want the graded cards return or if they can reverse the insurance payout on my orders.
Hope they let me keep the cards as, I put a to low value on cards as I belived the first time that I was suppose to put value on the cards when i shipped them, not graded.
