Currently waiting on my return of cards I sent in earlier in the week. One of my grades though was on one of my 1999 1st edition charizards, which I got as a kid, prob around 99-00. It came back as N3. Pretty ticked I wasted a bit chunk of change but I can’t see how it was tampered with. They were stored in my furnished basement in a closet for the last 20+ years. Is it possible PSA made a mistake? Would it be even worth trying to resend to try again?
… if I could figure out how to load photos, I could give a better idea lol
Did you buy this along with blastoise and Chansey from Cordy for 14k AUD? i offered him 15k just for the zard but was literally a day late
Sorry to hear about the PSA stuff up, condition wise this zard should be a 9 i reckon, front and back was super super clean and i remeber the only problem with this card was that it was very warped
Sorry to hear that @muners. Their “guarantees” are 95% of the time a myth. I’ve been waiting six months as they “review” a card they damaged which I had photo and video proof of exactly how it looked within the cardsaver used to mail. Just like that $5k down the drain. Frankly it made me unwilling to submit rare cards again even if the PSA grade carries a premium because I do not want to risk damage.
I really should have been able to pick up on this by now, but when somebody refers to the population of a PSA 9 card, are they referring to the number of 9s or the number of 9s AND 10s?
I submitted 52 cards last October, modern Pokémon and DBS promos plus, which took over three months to go from received to entered. All cards were easily checked.
Now, where did that order go? They’re searching:(
You could also look at Champion’s Path Charizard VMAX, see that the 10’s are 3x more populous than the 9’s and deduce that talking about 9 populations only include’s the 9’s.
I could do that, but I didn’t have a specific example I was looking at at the time, and that still would only have indicated what that specific person was referring to. Easiest to just ask.
