The Giant Pokémon non-TCG Identification Thread

Does anyone no much about the merlin series 1 sticker variations?

Ive seen the cracked ice and the prism quite often but never the 3rd variant. Do they come in the normal packs? Europe exclusive or promo? Ive just not ever seen any come out of the packs either.

That’s weird since it’s exactly the cracked ice version of muk that i have trouble finding and i’m still missing, there’s only one on ebay for sale but i refuse to pay 75€ for a graded copy

Apparently theres more and I kind of went down the rabbit hole deep

Well damn  just hoping ebay listing photos would have more than 7 pixels to better tell the differences, even though all the muk ones i check usually are just clearly prism ones

Where to you find them? Ive been told they are regional to Spain but I only see 2 listed on ebay. Tons of cracked ice on ebay

I really don’t remember as i’ve had it for years, but it’s interesting info to know the different holo patterns might be some country exclusives. The one cracked ice muk on ebay is from a french seller so i might have to go through sites like french rakuten at some point. Todocollection might be a good one in search of spanish ones

I’ve come across these before and always wanted to learn more about them. A listing popped up today that got me digging for more info, but even with Google Lens, I couldn’t find much. Someone snagged the listing before I could, but I’m still curious—does anyone here have more details on these?

Anyone know what this thing is I just bought?

FWIW, it’s released during the Advanced Generation (Ruby & Sapphire), aka when gen 3 was released, based on that green logo at the top-right:

After using a Google Lens search I found the one you’ve bought: https://jp.mercari.com/item/m58977604534

Based on similar search results, I came across quite a few other ones. Here three random examples of those, including a non-lenticular version for Poochyena:

etc.
And the back is apparently completely white, hence why a picture of it is missing in most auctions.

Almost all just mentioned Lenticular card.
Only this Regirock listing seems to have a bit more:
https://jp.mercari.com/item/m83816920821

Seems like it’s called a Pollock Ramune 3D card (ポロックラムネ 3D) or Pollock Ramune Lenticular 3D Mini Card (ポロックラムネ レンチキュラー 3D ミニカード) - I think. Although searching for that also seems to include a lot of other lenticular Pokémon cards, the ones with similar looking cards of the ones above seems to confirm this name.

Since it’s from gen 3, I’m now curious if there is a Seviper of these somewhere?
Probably not.

So if anyone knows:

  1. What they are called

The one you have listed as lenticular is from one of the Tomy “pollocks ramune” sets which you mentioned earlier in this thread. There are many different sets/designs released. And the two pogs are from magazine inserts, I dont know which exactly right now but most likely they have been identified before in this forum. I believe in orange’s thread you can find at least one of them.

The peruvian one is a bootleg. An identical copy of a licensed one that was released in 2007 by the Chilean company Salo:
