Not sure what it closed at but this would be one of the highest price paid for a ¥300 sticker pack if it was close to the listing price.

Don’t see it as paid yet but it would be a wild jump over the last two from the last few weeks which were $2375 and $2500
Assuming it’s paid, notable sale here:
It feels strange that sales in the mid-5 figures are a dime a dozen, but it seems like this card continues to not be on the front pages of everyone’s craziest “most recently sold” collages, despite being a very expensive card. And in a Pokemon world where people are overly obsessed with population reports, this card has a more numerous PSA 10 pop compared to cards selling at similar price points, so $50k seems pretty strong!

Fair point; amazingly enough the sunfaded ones still sell for 10s of thousands. Seems nutty to me but to each their own I suppose

Before anyone of you guys does anything that big, meet with a tax professional, US/CAD may have some options to defer or minimize via section 385 strategy or 85 in Canada. Again maybe just swallow the up to 28% the IRS uses for collectibles or the capital gains in Canada rules. Yada yada, all the best guys and yes, family first!

Tfw collectibles are tax free in germany, even if they gain a billion dollars in gains. The only condition is you need to hold them for a year after purchase. Same goes for crypto

The Umbreon sold privately for 915k in June if you scroll up a bit:
So if one’s being auctioned, it can definitely be added to the 1M+ thread afterwards, and even 2M+ wouldn’t surprise me. 
Crazy to say when June was only three months ago, but we’ve seen way larger jumps. I feel like both nothing anymore and everything will surprise me when it comes to PSA-10 prices..

Thought this traded at a not so insane price given the pricing history and PSA 10 market place. Granted it’s pop 375 and I probably value the signature more than others since Masago is one of my favorites.
