Maybe im just underestimating the price of these holos but I really dont see it worth the 1.5k bid someone made. Almost no first editions and I didn’t see a single e reader holo.

I think you are underestimating the price climbs of Base Unlimited holos. It’s a gamble on condition still, but with 30 base holos, if they’re 8 worthy that basically pays for the rest of the cards.

There are a lot on offer for $900 obo and 9s are $1600.

Tbh I was looking on uk ebay which doesn’t show alot of domestic us listings unless you alter the search parameters to worldwide so my mistake. There are none in the uk/eu currently.
Edit; just to add you would have to add nearly 30% to the price too if say I did buy from outside the UK/EU which is a joke, VAT + import duty etc. They might aswell be £900 here as you’d be paying over that anyway ha

Are you talking about on a per-card basis? Any given Skyridge holo is definitely scarcer and rarer than any given Aquapolis crystal, but there are more Skyridge holos in total in existence and on the market than Aquapolis Crystals in total. You have to remember that a given crystal is only slightly tougher to pull than a given holo (for both Aquapolis and Skyridge). Crystals are not exactly gold stars, let’s say that.

Theres definitely a tighter market here with less overall supply.
Obviously supply and demand is in full effect here.
Psa 7 unlimted zards are £500+ and 6’s are now in the £400 zone.
Cards are cheaper in th US but like I was saying by the time you do factor in 20% VAT and customs charges plus secure insured postage etc you’ve then gone over inflated UK prices.

A population like 3 Charizard, and not only that, it’s the one that every collector is after. It’s really up to whatever the seller(s) want for it. Could be $500k, could be $1mil. The rich people entering the hobby would go absolutely nuts for it so I would not be surprised at all to see one surpass $1m, and that’s assuming that one will ever even be put up for sale
