Not sure if it’s just the cards I’m looking at but I’ve noticed a lot of cards selling for more on Fanatics than ebay these days (Masaki Gengar PSA 9 for $9.3k on Fanatics vs $7.5k on Z&G ebay).
For the niche prize and trophy cards this makes sense, but I’m noticing a lot of desirable set cards or chases going for more too.
I meant the “store credit” is kept on a spreadsheet that is only visable by Z&G and the consigner. I sell a card for $1k, I get my $920 credit or whatever the rate is. I message him the next day - hey send me this card you have BIN on ebay that is $920 and call it even.
Obviosuly an insane amount of work to keep track, it wouldn’t work, but just a hypothetical
This is certainly a first for me. I am now 26 days since Fixed Price “sale”, and I still don’t have a resolution on my pending card. Sale date of December 5th and still stuck “pending”. Customer Service said:
”The buyer payment is still processing at this time, which is why the funds are not yet available.
Once the payment has fully cleared, we will notify you with an update or reach out if any further action is needed from our side. Thank you very much for your continued patience and understanding.”
I will say on the buying side I paid with ACH the other week the day after the weekly auction, and it took close to two weeks to clear. Really frustrating but it could genuinely still be processing if they chose ACH.
Nope - I’m guessing they’re working through a big backlog of lots of stuff since I also have CS requests that used to take 1-2 days to get a response now taking a lot longer since the holidays.
Also, just to update again, still nothing on the Kabuto lol. It is now 34 days since the “pending payment” date. Customer Service has escalated the case and my main man Rodolfo said they would let me know in few weeks what’s up.
Had an eBay seller send an extra 20 raw cards that I had to pay grading fees on. After a week of back and forth with support, I’ve accepted I’m out of luck and am just gonna pay the fees and have the cards disposed of.
