That’s what I’m thinking. I really doubt Arita colored it. If he did that’d be kinda cool. Kinda. Still wouldn’t buy it. But I’d at least understand the attention/price a little more.

I will never understand the appeal of these charizards. Outside of it just looking mid, there is no way to know if someone had arita sign the card and then just scribble over the charizard themselves.

I had to check google and my topps card gallery thread also appeared quite high on search results for topps cards, but instead of some useful information i wrote there google had picked up me mentioning my avocado socks

I’d wager Arita is colouring them in just due to the sloppiness in which they’re being coloured, likely because he’s got others waiting in line to sign and is rushing.
Anyone colouring it after the fact would try to make it look aesthetically pleasing at least lol.

This is the same as putting little googly eyes on an oil painting. Someone saw it once and heard how much Mafa claimed it was worth and shot their shot 
If it didn’t appeal to people at all then they wouldn’t sell. For now, I’m okay knowing the people with more money than me have way worse taste.

Honestly it doesn’t bother me too much, but god damn it’s hideous imo 
I reckon Arita doesn’t care much about them (as some have had the worst colouring in i’ve ever seen) just because those would be from his highest tier auto so he makes a little more over just a sketched head. Maybe that’s why they keep popping up? 
Either way why pay that much more for an item that will always have that doubt attached to it’s authenticity (in terms of the colouring) Unless the seller shows you a video of it being done? Which we know Artists forbid from being recorded.
