What does it mean bootleg - like, unofficial?
Did Vending Series set have reverse holos or only regular? Or these cards were holo version?

Yes. Unofficial or unlicensed product. Vending series did not have any reverse holos cards. All of the Vending series cards have a glossy front as compared to regular cards.
The holofoil cards you refer in your post belong to the ‘Masaki Promo set’ which technically do not belong to the Vending series but needed some cards in the vending set to be able to obtain them.
