A crazy good new set up of artists! Roserade by Gapao, grottle by Uninori, bronzong by Katsunori Sato, deerling by Rond and meditate by Natsumi Miyanose are all absolutely gorgeous and some of the strongest cards in the set, roserade may be the best of them all. Glad to see new beautiful cards from Kanda and Komiya too, no new Sowsow tho and still no any sight of new Hataya cards!

Live your best life. I would not hesitate to add it if it hinted at Gyarados’ gen 1 team sprite. XD
That being said, I can’t wait to see what other Cameos there are on this card when we get a clearer image of it.

Taking this approach, the four icons visible in the art would account for 93 Pokémon, quite comfortably putting the card at the top of the cameo chart with 97 total cameo appearances.
If also counting the Gen 2 equivalents of the sprites, it would add another 33 Pokémon, for a total of 130; though Scarlet & Violet only features the Gen 1 set of sprites, and thus could be argued to only represent their Gen 1 categorization.
Still, under this interpretation we could see a Scarlet & Violet card with the entire 151 roster as cameos represented by their Gen 1 menu sprites, as the game’s Alfornada Observatory (which serves as the town’s gym) features the full set of them as mosaics. The building has already been featured in the background of sowsow’s Paldea Evolved Slowpoke, though its mosaics are conveniently blocked from sight by a row of buildings.

I like the Suicune raptor thing. Entei and especially Raikou ancient forms I’m especially not a fan of, although I could see Entei growing on me.
I think it will be a cool set.
I think the wood carving is just another Pawmi actually or Pawmo or Pawmot lol.
The crescent moon on its forehead makes me fairly confident it’s Teddiursa … though I did just notice that crescent moon is facing the wrong way - or at least all official depictions I can find have it face the other way.

The staff opening the box first guessed it to be Teddiursa too (Himeguma). I think it’s an intentionally reversed image of the entire card that we’re seeing off a mirror, that is showing us the reversed crescent.

Hmm doesn’t look anything like a Teddiursa to me. Looks like the Pawmi line’s tuff of hair.
