Imma need that Relicanth SAR.
Those Paradox beasts can do one though, especially Raikou’s giraffe form. I thought that was a fake fan mock up back it was first released and I still can’t quite get over it. Maybe it’s dramatic but it feels like somebody took a cherished part of my past and ruined it.

I think the Entei is what does this comparison in. It’s very clearly not similar to Typhlosion (stands on four legs vs two, giant head, no flames, etc).
Not sure where I saw this posted (I think it was @koala on the E4 discord, but I may be mistaken), but the Paradox beasts are pretty clearly based off of classes of dinosaurs. Elongated Electricity Raging Bolt is based off of sauropods (Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, etc.), Spiky Sparks Gouging Fire is based off of ceratopsians (very directly similar to Styracosaurus specifically), and Walking Wake is based off of theropods (T-rex, Giganotosaurus).
Kinda getting off-topic here, but I think the existence of past paradox beasts and future paradox swords of justice is a hint. I think we will see Legends Johto (set in the past) and a Unova remake (alternate timeline like ORAS or future Unova) this year.

I thought to whole point of the Pokémon Illustrator competition was to allow the one winner the chance to join the art roster at Creatures.
But they’re adding so many, many new artists - most of which don’t really cut it for me, and diluting the art.
