I love how all out they are going, but the amount of effort it will take to collect this set barring a change in pull rates is physically painful, haha. This is 4 sets being released at one time. The YouTube influencers that try to master the set on camera may turn to dust in front of live audience before achieving their goal!
You can see the poke ball pattern on the Victini which is the same as the 151 Japanese poke ball pattern. It’s a shame it’s not the textured version we got in prismatic. But there is only so much they can cook.
I wonder if they’re keeping certain reverse foils to different types of sets. Both 151 and Prismatic Evolutions are EN special sets but for JP only Terastal Festival ex is the High Class set; and perhaps the textured reverse foils will be reserved for future High Class sets
JP Enhanced Expansion Pack (151, Black Bolt & White Flare) → glossy Pokéball mirror foil → EN special set (151, Black Bolt & White Flare)
JP High Class Pack (Terastal Festival ex) → textured Pokéball mirror foil → EN special set (Prismatic Evolutions)
Technically it is textured to get the design but not in a noticable way. Probably at a microscopic level to create the holo design effect only with light.
Interesting. When i have been testing resin crafts the design is removed both from clearly textured cards and from these style as the resin fills and smooths the textures, turning the holo completely mirror. Very disappointing from a crafting display perspective.
EN 151 did not bring the glossy Pokéball/Master Ball reverse holo pattern from JP 151, so this will be the first time
EN Prismatic Evolutions also has 3 reverse holo types, with the Pokéball and Master Ball versions being textured (etched)
Total cards for EN should be up to 812-828 depending on whether Trainer cards also receive a Master Ball reverse holo and what cards will be removed for Black Star promos
