Was wondering if anyone has any idea on the amount of staff charizards that we’re given out during prerelease

There is only speculation. No solid evidence on the distributed number.
The number I heard being thrown around is 1200 max copies.

That number seems really really low. One thing we do know about the promos is that whichever promo your store got, all of your Staff promos were the same promo out of the four.
I work in a medium size board game store, and we got 8 Charizards.
The real number is probably a lot higher.
Interesting. This made me go to the Pokemon site and see how many prereleases events are actually being held.
While I don’t know how to search previous events, I did check up on the next upcoming prerelease events for Lost Thunder. There are a total of 350+ prerelease events worldwide. Maybe some stores did not show up on the search or there are more events for XY Evolutions. That’s the info I can find on this.

I ran the same search and got around 500. Maybe I was over-estimating due to the UK and US having more Prereleases per area than other places it seems.
Yup. I assumed you searched worldwide which includes Italy, Spain, Germany and Portugal which have their own Prerelease promos
