So, what is the best way to keep the binder from warping?

I’ve noticed some cards are starting to warp, all binders were kept vertically, now I’ve rearranged some horizontally.

Horizontal layout: possible damages to the cards? Should the cards inside even out the binder’s cover while it’s lying down to avoid that the cover might press only on the extrernal cards (opposite to where the rings are) due to the cover being sloped(?)?

Paranoia is finally creeping in, so I need help with the best way to store binders. Also, I wanted to wrap them in something to avoid dust going inside the pages/cards.
The blue ones are Quadrow Portfolio 12pockets by Ultimate Guard with a zipper so they are safe from dust and they’re more sturdy.

(Is there a guide to binders and how to keep them?)

Definitely don’t keep binders up right and if youre really concerned, get binders without rings.

What kind of warping? Holos only or all cards?

Why is it bad to keep binders upright? I think it’s generally better for cards than storing binders vertically – the cards aren’t under nearly as much pressure.

Is it humid in the room where the binders are? Humidity or some sort of moisture is usually my guess when it comes to warping. I’m sure binders can, but if it’s all your binders then it seem more likely that it’s humidity or something external rather than the binders themselves. I’ve stored mine flat and vertically and haven’t noticed a difference (Dragon Shield 9 pocket codex).

Depends on the binder. Can damage cards if the pages sag at all, usually with ring binders. Not sure if it’s an issue at all with non ring binders
