Small But Mighty - Niece's Curation of 4'11 (1.5 m) Pokémon Species

Yes I have finally decided to add a collection page! I have put my OCD aside and upload imperfect photos. I am also pretty private about my collection. This is the collection I am most comfortable sharing. It is special to me. Why 4’11? Because it is not 5’ (how boring is that). It is a perfect 1.5 meters. This stature is extraordinary as are those that have navigated life from this view. If you have not guessed, my stature is shared with these Pokémon. I basically have not grown in inch or cm since I was 10. I was not always comfortable with this. I remember discovering Pokémon had heights and that there were Pokémon my exact stature! It was a deep comforting bond that has lasted decades. Ash’s Geninja was the one that enlightened me. I identified with it, always trying to prove itself until it finally found its place. Greninja still is my favorite in the group and I have a separate collection for it. To explore the species and find it contains all my favorite Mons was even a greater joy. Seems like I grab every Hitmonlee, Alakazam, Swampert, Ludicolo, Gengar, Salamence .. oh wait. I’m just naming them all.. I even fully appreciate those that get so little love like Venomoth and Cradlily, what is not to love about these wonderful grass anomalies. Best part is unlike me it is always growing, and we both are always changing and adapting. In every generation you can find some very fine 4’11’ Pokémon. Let me introduce you to my favorite part of my collection!

Each 1.5 m or 4’11 Pokémon by Pokedex

I switch out the ones in front and I am always looking for new ways to organize. Currently I am looking to do an Art rare for each Pokémon, then perhaps start doing some more creative page organizing in the back. I actually need a new binder since I pretty much have no more room in this one.

Great collection! Thanks for sharing it along with your story, it’s nice how personal it is.

The Greninja connection is really cool. I’d love to see your Greninja collection someday too!

I’m always looking for new ways to organize my binders too, it’s easy to get lost in it for hours!

Thank you. I may get around to posting that some day. It is relatively small since I mostly do unique arts for the species. The only variants I collect are of Ash Greninja and my signature card Radiant Greninja, which can be a challenge and is incomplete. I currently have 4 (play, AR, VStar, and Battle Region) versions and believe there are eight? @jaxlax21 is that correct?

Yeah it can be like that. Caught it standing on its hair to stretch and inch.

In just English and Japanese, there are, by my count…15.
