Show Off Your Last Cracked Slab (binder)

I think I have cracked almost every type of slab now, and that was among the easiest to crack and get out.

Clefairy now has a new home in my binder. I hope it gets along with its neighbours.

Very nice, they look great together! What’s the plan; 1st ed, shadowless, unlim, and the fourth slot?

Thank you. That’s correct. It will go 1st Edition, Shadowless, Unlimited, and Unlimited “4th” print which has different copyright dates.

I’m concentrating on 1st edition now but I left those spaces so that I don’t have to move my cards around if I do decide to collect the next print run.

It has been quite some time since ive busted one of these open, and i was on the fence with luxio since there arent a ton but i see a couple 8s for sale so it shouldnt be too hard to find one higher than this guy. Im still unsure about cracking opening bucks training but ill see how im feeling once that ones here. I admired this one for about 10 seconds before i decided it was getting opened  no complications just noticed this one seemed a bit more solid than the cgc one i did. The edges didnt want to seperate on this one.

This thread is fascinating. Not only because of all the great collections, but also because it shows the dedication of completing a collection.

It seems I come from the other side of the argument though: I would rather grade a faulty item I really like, to have it sealed and be preserved. Making something faulty and maybe ordinary something special (at least I feel this way).

Besides that, I really love the mindset, that the actual cards are the center of collecting, not the grades they get. :blue_heart: :purple_heart: :sparkling_heart:

Original idea was to crack both and resubmit to CGC however the holo bleed on one is so insane that I’m keeping that unslabbed. The card looks dirty outside of the light due to so many holo bleed spots. I have a good amount of these now but it feels really different holding mint ones in hand.

The card I will submit has a noticeable holo shift compared to my other copies which is also pretty cool but I’m guessing not enough to be recognized by CGC.

I too absolutely adore holo bleeds, i can imagine you spending ages just holding it and turning it in different angles to admire the shine

Good chance it becomes LP within a few months with the amount of time it will spend in my hand :joy:
