Cool pickups! When I go to shops, I also love to flip through the bulk to look for errors. I’ve only found a few cards, but it’s always fun. The alignment dot on that Onix is super off, no wonder that card/sheet was cut funny!
Unfortunately, the Charizard is water-damaged and not an error.
Where’s the additional ink on that Espeon/Deoxys?
Ah I’m not too sure about that! I’ve had multiple people tell me that it’s a (white) ink blot error as you see there’s a perfect circle of Holo missing on the front which would be super hard to do with just water damage right?
On the Espeon Deoxys card there’s some light blue/cyan ink on the top left, kind of the same color as the deoxys
I got this dragonite back from PSA recently and noticed the gold stamp looked weird. Missing some small parts of the gold lettering. Wondering if this would be considered an error or damage or something else.
Additional ink on the white opaque layer would never show on the other side of the card. I have seen the discolouring on the back of many water-damaged cards.
Very cool seeing intentional blanks in different languages! Thanks for sharing them.
The German card is kinda funny, because it isn’t translated correctly.
It’s like somebody translated each word on its own without context, so the sentence does not make sense at all
It should be: “Diese Karte wurde absichtlich leer gelassen, bitte entsorgen”.
End of the German lesson
Thanks! It’s an interesting little niche these guys fall into. Most Filler Cards originate in the US. There are very few variations that originate internationally. Even fewer which can be identified as such.
While I’m sure there are others we/I just don’t know of, the only other Filler Card I know of that can be identified as international from the card alone is this one.
Not my card

A solid yellow filler card. The border is from the International Nintendo ex era. This one specifically came from some old Portuguese deck someone opened recently.
The double edge sword of it is that since other languages are printed far less, the errors are less likely to occur in general and harder to find and connect to when they do.
I’ve heard this a few times. Gives me a chuckle but also makes me question the origin and reasoning of the text. Who did write it that it’s so poorly translated. Who is it written for if it’s so poorly written. The world may never know.
Picked up a gold border squirtle and bulbasaur to match my charmander, have the full starter trio now
Right, yeah makes sense as it wasn’t marked as an error card by cgc as well of course
One of the many cheap but fun slabs purchased recently. Price makes me think this is a common error, but I am greatly enjoying the art, and playing with the lighting on the holo.
I got an error card and it isn’t a Filler Card. It’s a Christmas Miracle
Holo Shift Japanese Fire Chicken
That’s sick!! What a find
Does anyone have any machop, machoke, machamp base errors they’d be open to letting go? (or sharing for motivation for me to find some haha)
This PSA 10 Cosmos Machamp has additional ink. Could be worth making a WTB thread or posting for it here.
