Never been a huge error card fan unless they’re suuuuper egregious (no damage Ninetales, no stage Blastoise, Wartortle evolving from Wartortle, etc.) and I’m not very knowledgable about them, but I’ve had these forever and think they’re kinda neat. The Dark Haunter and the two Uxie are just smudges in the upper left, but the fact that I somewhere (10+ years ago) picked up two RH Uxie with the exact same “error” is cool to me. Used to use them in decks as a lucky rabbit’s foot thing. I believe the Empoleon is very common and the Dialga slightly less so.
Empoleon’s Poké-Power is listed as a Poké-Body, and the coloring on Dialga’s weakness and resistance are off (the Fire-type weakness symbol is yellow and the Psychic-type resistance symbol is blue).
Late reply, but that copyright error Blastoise is the cosmos holofoil print from the XY Two Pack Blisters that released in 2014! The original tinsel holofoil released in 2013. In 2015, the same cosmos holofoil version was reprinted in the XY Knock Out Collection and XY Kanto Two Pack Blisters with the correct copyright of 2013, making for a total of 3 versions of this specific Blastoise card.
Facebook and eBay. They really vary, some extreme ones like this can be had for $100-200 but I’ve paid closer to $1,000 for specific ones (for ex. the Zoroark GX I picked up to reunite with the Entei). It’s a seller’s market, truly…
Ninetales HeartGold & SoulSilver
A promotional version of this card included in the Stage 1 Blisters was incorrectly printed with the Undaunted Set Symbol instead of the HeartGold & SoulSilver Symbol.
Nice, I didn’t even knew about this error, nor about those designs of Stage 1/2 Pokémon for the Black & White era in general. TIL.
For anyone else who don’t see the error or didn’t knew about it: the one on the right is the error version, which has four overlapping sections left to the HP (which is usually used for Stage 2 Pokémon). Whereas the corrected version at the left has two overlapping sections instead (which is used for Stage 1 Pokémon).
Thanks for sharing, and congrats on picking up the pair for your collection.
