Should I PSA base cards?

I think this is taken slightly out of context.

He said “trainer cards. PSA 10. 1st edition base. if they’re selling 'em $40, I will buy all of them. all of them.”

I couldn’t find the video when I was looking for the exact thing he said, but you’re right. I should’ve clarified it was about PSA10’s.
Still doesn’t removes the fact that ‘we’ as little kids ditched the common trainers because they didn’t contain Pokémon. Of course, there are still tons out there but there are also tons of PSA10 Base Set collectors that just stockpiling.

The C/U holos and reverse holos from the S&M generation are undervalued. Most places I’ve seen are selling these for cheap. Somebody collecting S&M 10 years from now will want the reverse holo Caterpie rather than the non-holo Caterpie. Hence why I’m planning to grade a bunch of C/U in holo/reverse holo.

TBH, It’s pretty rare for any trading card to be worth a great deal of money, and usually it’s only worth money if it’s in mint condition. The card has to be rare, be desirable, and be in mint condition to be worth much. Charizard is an example of this, and prices for Charizard reflect the condition.

@chopper I don’t think you are going to have a great time if you are grading Sun and Moon base set C/U reverse holos with expectation of price growth. BICBW I guess.

Just remember you can always grade cards AFTER the price goes up. A lot less risk that way.
