Hello, I’m just looking for some recommendations for shipping high end valuable cards? I would prefer pickup but if can’t what are the best shipping options?
I would certainly use signature confirmation, overnight and insurance. Also I would pack it securely of course probably using a small safe and boxes.
USPS only offers 5000 in insurance. Any general recommendations? This is specifically for a box of cards.

Oddly, you didn’t say but let me assume you mean USA to USA.
By far the best way is USPS registered mail. Insurance is super cheap if registered and due to accountability it’s VERY secure.
Only downside is it can be slower but so what?
Added cost (above basic mailing charge) is about 13.00 then add up to 25,000.00 insurance at the rates below. This is an old charge list so it’s not accurate but at least it’ll give you an idea and you can search for up to date costs.

Hello, thanks for the advice! I was at USPS today and they told me the most I could insure is 5,000. Not sure if the women gave me the correct information but the computer wouldn’t let her put more than 5000 on a package. Thanks again
Standard shipping is up to $5k.
Registered mail is up to $50k.
I’m not American, but that’s what I’m seeing on the USPS website right now.
However, your ebay listing is International and I’m not sure how much you can insure for if someone from abroad wins your 1st Edtion box… There are possibly other options from other carriers which are quite costly.

Registered mail is the way to go unless you can arrange a cash pickup in person. Registered is cheaper than standard as well, just slower because it is always under lock and key and handled separately from regular mail.
