Japan Post announced that EMS service to the United States will resume June 1 but that delivery delays are anticipated (probably due to a bottleneck at Narita, plus the unreliability of the US Postal Service).
I’m curious what rates those of you who use FedEx and/or DHL are paying. I was quoted around $150 for large envelope.
I’m still new with buying from japan but from what I can tell FedEx is still the best. I’ve bought cards and they come from Japan to Texas via FedEx and they’ve arrived in less than a week. However I have others that I assume DHL (not sure but def not FedEx) that have taken just around 1 month. So who knows at this point but that’s just my personal anecdote getting thrown into the mix.
