Sealed Box Damage Preference

Hey sealed box collectors, which would you prefer for your box collection or how would you rank these, especially for a box that is more rare with less than 10-20 selling publicly a year and you dont have many options:

  • dented box
  • loose wrap
  • tight seal with rip
  • none I’ll wait for a case fresh box (if one ever pops up)

Seal is more important than the corners

This although Id rather have a small rip than a loose wrap

Yeah, tbh 10 boxes a year is quite a bit so I’d just wait for a better looking box.

A small dent or 2 is the least of your concerns in regards to that list. I’d say a big rip is the worst.

I dont care too much about dents the older the box is. Loose wrap depends, did the box originally come with that…oooooor. Because if not its a dealbreaker.

Seal can not be damaged.
