This guy cracked it as if he had been cracking a lot of them without tools for awhile.
When I first watched the live video I thought it was a joke that he used an already cracked case and put in a scratched-up Blue Eyes in with a PSA 10 label. Basically trashing PSA’s new case as the gist of the joke.
But then other people tried it with the new case and they do crack.
@zap2 This guy twist the top of the case where the label is with some force until some cracking sound is heard. He then goes to a top corner of the case and pries it open. I will be trying this when I get home where I have some PSA 5s sitting around.
Okay so here’s what I just tried after reading your response. I twisted the top and every time the case made a popping or clicking sound it showed a new spot of frost. After twisting it until almost the whole top was frosted I tried getting the little spots I had missed and ended up breaking the thing in half. Don’t worry guys, it was an Aerodactyl haunted by numerous deep print lines. The second photo shows the frost comparison. So basically this is nothing new and simply means take a good look at the card and the edges of the case. Wow, imagine actually having to show the card closely in good pictures with decent lighting. To me this only adds value to the few cards I sell as I always take goood photos and/or have scans.
Cracking a case isn’t the big deal. Guys used to tear phone books in half. Claiming to crack somebody else’s expensive case w/o permission IS where the story falls apart. I know you and nobody else believes it. I am a little confused you, of all people, are perpetuating this garbage.
Well, I don’t have solid evidence as to the card cracked out of the case isn’t owned by the person cracking the case but everyone believed so.
Also a person responded in the live video saying it was his friend’s card that was cracked out. The whole feel was basically him cracking out a card that didn’t belong to him and got a lot, and I mean a whole lot of backlash.
Which brings up something I’ve been wondering, has this guy even got any rep or cred to start with? back in the day to be a middle man you had to have been around a while and a proven track record, seems like every tom dick and charizardballer69 are middle men these days lol
